Founded in 1991, FORUM-ASIA works to strengthen movements for human rights and sustainable development through research, advocacy, capacity-development and solidarity actions in Asia and beyond. It has sub-regional offices in Geneva, Jakarta, and Kathmandu. KOMAS is an accredited member of Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (Forum Asia)
The Asia South Pacific Association for Basic and Adult Education (ASPBAE) is a regional network of more than 200 civil society organisations and individuals operating in around 30 countries of the Asia-Pacific. ASPBAE works towards promoting the right to quality education and transformative and liberating lifelong adult education and learning for all.
The Coalition of Malaysian NGOs in the UPR Process (COMANGO) was formed by civil society organisations in 2008 to engage in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the United Nations. It is the biggest civil society coalition of its kind in the UPR process, comprising of over 50 organisations. Pusat KOMAS acts as co-secretariat for COMANGO, with Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM).
